Couple of possible synce -> evo bugs

Hi, folks. There's an interesting report on the MDV forums here:

from a guy who tested syncing in MDV 2009 and found a couple of possible
bugs between Evo and synce: apparently having two contacts with the same
name but one with Jr. - like, Bob Jones and Bob Jones Jr. - confused Evo
somehow (I am asking for more details on this). Secondly, apparently
birthdays weren't synced. Can anyone shed any light on these? Thanks!

I'll take a look at this one - I'm working on solving a funny timezone
bug in sync-engine at the moment so it won't take much to look at this
as well.

I'll take a look at this one - I'm working on solving a funny timezone

Can you confirm the version of Opensync that is being used here?

I've just committed a fix for the birthday bug in SVN (r3597). This bug
affects OS0.2x.

Also fixed up anniversaries in OS0.2x conversions when going Opensync to
Airsync. The XML is correct in the other direction, but the anniversary
doesn't appear. Suspect an Opensync bug at the moment.
