Hello, developers of a great program of SynCE!
I'm not good at english at all, i just want to ask you for detailed plan
of what sould I do to connect my Motorola MPx200 to my Linux-running PC.
So, i'm user of Ubuntu 5.10 breezy i386, kernel version 2.6.12-9-386; my
device, as i said, is Motorola MPx200 with Windows CE for Smartphone
2003 edition (not good at all, if it was possible, i would install some
linux on it); and the output of diff is
33a34,41
T: Bus=02 Lev=01 Prnt=01 Port=03 Cnt=02 Dev#= 5 Spd=12 MxCh= 0

E: Ad=82(I) Atr=02(Bulk) MxPS= 64 Ivl=0ms
E: Ad=02(O) Atr=02(Bulk) MxPS= 64 Ivl=0ms
.
Can you help me with this? I would be very thankful if you do.

Well I guess first thing you might want is the current distro
version -- for ubuntu that seems to be 6.06 by now. It's because
the kernel gets fixed, and if the distro packages synce, then
you might just get current (more fixed) version.

Otherwise, for me it was enough to follow the instructions on
site to package SynCE for ALT Linux a few years ago, and get
it running by the way.

[diff skipped]

googling 045e 00ce synce results in
http://synce.sourceforge.net/synce/usb_linux_ids.php
being the fourth link for me.

Look at that page and at HOWTO referenced there?

So I'd suggest that you first look whether it's already packaged
for you distro and try to use the packages; if not, then fetch
current synce software stack and try to build it yourself.
If there are problems with building, then it might be better
to ask on distro-related forums and mailing lists, or those
experienced people you might know. If there will be problems
with hooking PPC device via synce, then it will make sense
to ask developers.

I'm not one of them but I know quite for sure that distracting
from development to teach people do basic things (some of which
might be distro-specific, and many of which are already described
in Software-Building HOWTO) usually isn't very productive.

Especially when neither of the sides is native English speaker
(and there might not be other common languages in between)...

Короче говоря, попробуйте сперва спросить на ubuntu.ru каком.
Если будут проблемы с собственно уже synce, тогда здесь.
