The synce-serial package in Debian has been orphaned,
and needs a new maintainer.

I did know about this (see the thread regarding "orange" in
debian-mentors), but I don't have a WM2003 device to test this.

I suppose I could throw a package together, ask someone to test it and
then upload? I'm sure Mark will test it for me. After all, he is a nice
guy! I'll adopt this package then. Expect an upload soon.

I have been connecting ipaq rz1710 using synce serial start, this is a
wm2003 device? Unable to do more than connect at the moment and my Linux
skills are ?? but will test if required.

Jonny, I've packaged the 0.11 release in my repository if that's
helpful, it's what I use every day.

Ah, that sounds cool. Unfortunately I've already prepared a package.
I'm now just waiting the l10n changes that Christian Perrier was going
to NMU synce-serial with, then it will be ready for an upload. However,
I will check out your package now and steal any good ideas!
