Hi jonny, mark, john, et al.
i've been watching synce for five years now. tried it out every now and
then. on debian, on gentoo, on ubuntu with wm 2003, 2005 and wm 6.
it always kind of worked ... kind of ...
today i got the 0.12 update via the ubuntu ppa (running hardy right now)
and tried it again. multiple times. with the pda i'm using every day.
and it worked. again. and again. the first time ever.
everything got synced reliably and without any slow syncs.
and i want to thank you. today is the first day, since i'm running linux
- and linux only - i have a simple, convenient and yet reliable way of
entering data on my pc and having a backup of my pda data at the same
time.
synce is production ready from my point of view - let's spread the word
and have it get packaged per default with every distro coming out in the
future.
it works, it's worth it.
thanks alot, again :-)
