Hi,
I have a new Windows Mobile 5.0 based GPS/PDA: Airis T620 (see
http://www.airiseurope.com/Tienda/Default.aspx?idG=001&idSG=004 for
details). I'd like to connect itto my IBM/Lenovo ThinkPad T60 running
Debian Etch 4.0 with kernel 2.6.18. I installed all necessary packages
by apt, and followed the instructions on page
http://www.synce.org/index.php/Connecting_your_Windows_Mobile_2003_device_via_USB
to connect my PDA, but I got kernel Oops:
# cat /proc/bus/usb/devices > /tmp/before
# cat /proc/bus/usb/devices > /tmp/after
# diff /tmp/before /tmp/after
96a97,109
# cat /proc/bus/usb/devices > /tmp/before
# cat /proc/bus/usb/devices > /tmp/after
# diff /tmp/before /tmp/after

You can now run synce-serial-start to start a serial connection.
$ dccm
# synce-serial-start
synce-serial-start is now waiting for your device to connect
