Hi,
I'm reporting the result of trying to sync my Pocket PC with Ubuntu Dapper
(failed).
First of all I haven't been able to install the package called
"syncekonnector" because it doesn't seem to be in the repos. I looked at
UbuntuForums and they say other applications can be used instead so I just
proceeded as on the Wiki pages. Thought that was worth mentioning as
"background".
Following the "Connecting your device (WIndows Mobile 2003)" instructions *I
got a value of 2 for #Cfgs= .
*
Brand and model of my device: HP iPAQ rx3700 , Windows Mobile 2003
PC: Packard Bell Easynote A, running Kubuntu Dapper Drake, kernel version
2.6.15-27-386
***@zsuzsi-laptop$: diff /tmp/before /tmp/after
44a45,56
and the eps value were different).
***@zsuzsi-laptop:~$ sudo synce-serial-start
synce-serial-start is now waiting for your device to connect
***@zsuzsi-laptop:~$ synce-pstatus
synce-pstatus: Unable to initialize RAPI: An unspecified failure has
occurred
So it doesn't work. :( Would really appreciate some advice!
Thanks, and viva el OpenSource!!!
